I shoot both on a Nikon D3000 as well as Nikon F601 film camera made in 1981. Nature and astrophotography are generally my favorite subjects to capture. However, I took a documentary film course with Professor of the Practice, Tom Rankin, through Duke’s Documentary Studies department during my sophomore year which opened my eyes to this style of photography. I gained a deep appreciation for capturing moments of human interaction which I would like to continue pursuing moving forward.
